Pledge Requirements

​What does it take to become a candidate (pledge)?

 

Undergraduate

  • Complete at least 30 hours of courses

  • Declare a financial information profession major

  • Complete one upper level AC/FI/CS course

  • Maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA

  • Maintain a 3.0 major GPA

  • Pay initial dues of $75

  • Have at least one semester remaining following your semester of pledging

 

Graduate

  • Enroll in a financial information degree program

  • Pay initial dues of $75

  • Have at least one semester remaining following your semester of pledging

​How do I maintain candidate (pledge) status?

​

  • Attend 8 hours of professional activities in the semester, of which at least 6 hours are BAP-affiliated

  • Perform 8 hours of service activities in the semester, of which at least 6 hours are BAP-affiliated

  • Perform 4 "flex hours" of professional or service hours in the semester

  • Remain active in chapter activities

  • Attend Fall or Spring initiation ceremonies to celebrate new inductees

  • Pay chapter dues of $50 per year or $30 per semester following your initial semester of pledging

  • Complete at least 60 hours of courses

  • Declare a financial information profession major

  • Taking/Complete one upper level AC/FI/CS course

  • Maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA

  • Maintain a 3.0 major GPA

  • Be voted in by the chapter

  • Attend your induction ceremony

How do I maintain membership?

​

  • Attend 6 hours of professional activities per semester, of which at least 4 hours are BAP-affiliated

  • Perform 6 hours of service activities in the semester, including at least 1 BAP service event

  • Perform 4 "flex hours" of professional or service hours per semester

  • Remain active in chapter activities

  • Attend Fall or Spring initiation ceremonies to celebrate new inductees

  • Pay chapter dues of $50 per year or $30 per semester

​How do I maintain JUNIOR membership status?

​

  • Attend at least 4 events. At least two professional events and two service/mentorship events.

  • Attending 4 additional hours will get seats to the Spring Banquet.

  • Remain active in chapter activities

  • Pay chapter dues of $20 per semester.
